HOW YOU CAN HELP
The Mark Milford Memorial Scholarship is an annual stipend awarded to a promising San Diego scholar-athlete attending the California State University, San Marcos Campus. The award recipient is chosen by none other than Steve Scott, the American record holder in the mile and the head track and field coach at CSUSM. R2R has been designated a 501c3 charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service.

The recipient of the 2003 Milford Scholarship was Chris O’Neal who became an All American with a 21st place finish in the National Cross Country competition. Chris's All-American effort led the Cal State San Marcos men's team to a 4th place finish.
Currently a single-year stipend, the founders and officers of R2R hope to expand the scholarship program, making it a four-year endowment at CSUSM, and extending the scholarship to scholar-athletes at San Diego State University, San Diego University, and the University of California, San Diego.
